Kari is thrilled to manage Cedar Ridge’s day-to-day operations, creating a positive and safe environment for our residents to thrive. She’s worked in numerous roles in senior living, starting as a Dining Director in 2009, serving as Memory Care Director, and most recently as our Business Office Manager. “I have always had a special place in my heart for seniors. Managing Cedar Ridge is the best of the best.”
Kari’s strength is being an active listener and she loves taking the time to share a visit with residents to show them how loved and important they are. She became a CNA in 2012 and recently received her Assisted Living Administrator certification.
Kari enjoys spending time with husband, children and grandchildren camping and fishing, and riding their Harley.
Samantha knows it can be a difficult decision-making process when moving a family member to senior living, so she patiently seeks to guide and help families who are on that journey, no matter how long it takes or where they end up. As Leasing Director, Samantha introduces people to our wonderful community and knows how each department serves seniors, having worked as Activity Director and as a Certified Nursing Aid. Her own mom was a nurse and passed on that desire to her. “I never feel like I’m working because I’m taking care of people, having fun and making a difference.”
In her spare time, Samantha and her husband love competing in BBQ competitions and have earned international acclaim on the Kansas City Barbecue Society circuit!
Wynetta is responsible for all the billing, paperwork and resident files at Cedar Ridge, as well as ensuring our community meets all compliance and regulatory standards for the safety and security of everyone here. She loves helping people and being a listening ear for residents who need someone to talk to. Wynetta has also served in nursing roles as a CNA and ACMA, recognizing the patience and understanding that’s needed to make Cedar Ridge a caring and thriving community. In her spare time, she enjoys making candles for family and friends.
Sharon loves cooking and baking for our residents, creating the menu and overseeing all food preparation, cleaning and organizing. Residents love the restaurant-style dining experience at Cedar Ridge, and no one is more qualified to serve up delicious dishes with a smile. Sharon has been a Dining Director for more than 30 years, a career she chose after watching her mother serve as a nurse in the senior living industry. When Sharon cooks her famous barbecue beef brisket meal with bread pudding for dessert, residents always ask her to make it again the next day!
Sharon enjoys time with her three children and granddaughter, and loves to read history or watch the History Channel. She’s always learning new things.
As Maintenance Director, Archie oversees all housekeeping and repairs to keep our building and grounds in pristine condition. Tackling priorities quickly is second nature to Archie, who served in the Marines and worked on F/A-18 fighter jet engines and fuel systems. Later he discovered a passion for senior living and has even worked as a Funeral Director. “Most of the time it is the simple things that make the biggest impact – fixing a closet door that won't close right, having carpets cleaned, hanging a picture or curtains, or just stopping to ask them how they are doing.”
Archie’s wife and three kids also enjoy Competition BBQ and enjoy cooking and smoking meat.
